Jason Sheasby is a partner at Irell & Manella LLP and one of the nation’s leading trial lawyers in high-stakes intellectual property and complex commercial litigation. Over the past several years, he has served as co-lead or lead trial counsel in a series of precedent-setting cases involving patent infringement, contract disputes, and technology licensing, achieving significant jury verdicts and defense wins for global clients. Mr. Sheasby has represented companies across the semiconductor, biotechnology, consumer electronics, and software sectors. His recent trial work includes multiple victories for Netlist against Samsung involving computer memory technology, securing findings of infringement, willfulness, and substantial damages, as well as trial wins for Fundamental Innovation Systems, StreamScale, G+ Communications, DePuy Synthes (a Johnson & Johnson company), and Gilead Sciences. His cases are frequently cited for their technical complexity, trial efficiency, and clear presentation of sophisticated issues to juries.
